This strategy directly addresses Thailand’s demand for primary care physicians, while also maintaining global educational benchmarks. By emphasizing specific learning outcomes, the curriculum ensures that graduates are well-prepared to meet societal healthcare needs and uphold international medical standards.

Constructivism
The curriculum is designed based on constructivist theory, which emphasizes integrative and experiential learning through horizontal, longitudinal, and spiral integration Basic and clinical sciences are integrated in a system-based format, ensuring that theoretical knowledge is reinforced through early clinical exposure, beginning in the first year. By incorporating early clinical exposure and fostering interdisciplinary competencies, constructivist learning prepares students for lifelong learning and clinical challenges. The curriculum also emphasizes the development of Leadership skills, Effective communication, and Self-management abilities.
Students further refine these competencies through coursework and extracurricular activities Additionally, research training is embedded in the curriculum, beginning with research ethics and ending with practicing research projects. This ensures that graduates possess the necessary skills to contribute to clinical research and evidence-based medical practice.
